Business meetings

The Ministry of Social Affairs confirmed upon request of Kroes Advocaten Immigration Lawyers and the Expat Center Amsterdam that business visitors continue to be allowed to be in the Netherlands for the purpose of business meetings, be it uninterrupted or not, for a period of 4 weeks in 13 weeks. Mistakenly in the new law as of 1 January 2014 in the definition of business meeting the word ‘uninterrupted or not’ had been removed. The Ministry will change the law accordingly. Until than the wording of the law as it was before 1 January 2014 will be upheld.
